Selah’s First Annual Sip and Stroll: A beer, wine, cider and spirits Event is happening Friday, August 7th in Downtown Selah.
A partnership between the Selah Chamber and the Selah Downtown Association is the team behind this event. The idea is to showcase as many businesses as possible during the same evening. The event allows you to experience and talk to 48 different businesses and owners in only 12 locations. Inside each of the host locations you’ll find one non-alcoholic beverage, one featured alcoholic vendor and a local restaurant. This is a great way for businesses to partner, network, and support each other.
This 21 and over event features producers of the Yakima Valley’s craft, wine and spirit, as well as local non-alcoholic beverages. You will be able to sample your beverage which has been paired with local Selah cuisine. There are 12 participating downtown business hosts. Choose your favorite beverage and food while meeting the hosts and socializing with “neighbors” all within a few block stroll!
Tickets are $15 each until June 1st and $20 after that. Each ticket comes with a commemorative glass plus 3 food and 3 drink scrip for sampling. Additional scrip will be available at each site for purchase ($2/taste). The event goes from 5 PM to 8 PM rain or shine at 10 locations and to 10 PM for 2 locations. Check-in to get your glass & wristband is the SDA office at 8 N. 1st, Selah WA 98942 between Pingreys and Footlites. Look for the sandwich boards & balloons for host locations. Check-in is open 4:30-7:30 pm. Bring your ID! Tickets available for purchase at the door or at Eventbrite.
